1. Shipping Destinations & Costs

Contiguous USA: We offer FREE SHIPPING on all orders.

Exclusions: At this time, we do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, P.O. Boxes, or APO/FPO addresses due to the size and battery requirements of E-bikes.

2. Order Processing & Delivery Times

We know you value transparency and so do we. Please note our standardized shipping timeline:

Order Cut-off Time: 2:00 PM (CST) Central Standard Time (Monday–Friday).

Handling Time: 1–2 Business Days (Monday–Friday). This is the time it takes to verify your order and prepare the shipment at the warehouse.

Transit Time: 3–7 Business Days (Monday–Friday). This is the time your order is in the hands of the carrier (FedEx, UPS, or specialized Freight).

Total Estimated Delivery: 4–9 Business Days.

Seasonal & Holiday Shipping: Please note that during peak holiday seasons or high-demand periods, carrier transit times may experience slight delays beyond our control. 3. Shipping Methods

Due to the weight and lithium-ion batteries in E-bikes, we use specialized carriers.

Standard Items (Accessories): Usually ship via FedEx or UPS Ground.

E-bikes: Ships via Freight (LTL) or FedEx. For freight shipments, the carrier may contact you to schedule a delivery window. A signature is required for many of our E-bike deliveries to ensure your investment arrives safely.

4. Tracking Your Order

Once your order leaves the warehouse, we will send a confirmation email with your tracking number. Please allow 24–48 hours for the tracking information to update.

5. Damaged Shipments

We take great pride in our partners' packaging, but accidents can happen during transit.

Inspection: Please inspect the box for any visible damage before signing for your delivery.

Reporting: If the item is damaged, please take photos and contact us at 512-200-4958 or support@ventureoutebikes.com within 48 hours. Upon verification of the damage, we will initiate a claim with the carrier and process a replacement for you.

Are you looking at Himiway's D5 2.0 and now looking here at their D5 2.0 with 20" tires and getting confused on which one to bring home?  We've got you covered.  

While the Himiway D5 2.0 with 20" tires shares the exact same premium electronics package as its larger 26" sibling, they are not entirely identical except for the tires. Himiway didn't just throw smaller wheels on the exact same frame. They completely re-engineered the frame geometry and suspension mechanics for the 20" model.

Here is the breakdown of what remains identical, and more importantly, the major physical structural differences you need to know:

1. What is Exactly Identical (The Hardware Under the Hood)

The electronics, power delivery, and premium drivetrain are 100% mirrored across both bikes:

The Powertrain: Both feature the identical 48V, 750W geared hub motor putting out 90 Nm of torque (peaking at 1300W).

The Sensors: Both use the updated dual-sensor setup (switchable torque and cadence sensors) with the Smart Auto pedal assistant.

The Battery & Speed: Both run a UL-certified 48V 15Ah battery, include the 3.0A fast charger, and can be unlocked to a top speed of 28 MPH (Class I/II/III adjustable).

Brakes & Gears: Both feature identical Tektro hydraulic disc brakes (203mm front / 180mm rear) and a Shimano 8-speed drivetrain.

2. The Crucial Differences (Frame, Load, and Suspension)

This is where the 20" model completely splits from the 26" versions. Because 20" wheels sit much lower to the ground, Himiway made specific architectural upgrades to the bike:

Lower Standover Height & Center of Gravity: The 20" Step-Through drops the standover height down to a remarkably low 17 inches (compared to the taller standover of the 26" frame). This drops the bike's center of gravity drastically, making it much more agile on tight turns and significantly less intimidating for shorter riders or anyone worried about balance when coming to a dead stop.

Higher Payload Capacity: Surprisingly, the smaller 20" model actually has a higher total weight rating. The 26" D5 2.0 maxes out at 400 lbs, but the 20" D5 2.0 handles up to 440 lbs. 

Heavy-Duty Rear Rack Capacity: Because smaller 20" wheels are structurally stiffer and sit lower, Himiway rated the built-in MIK HD rear rack on the 20" model to carry up to 120 lbs, which is double the 60-lb rack rating on the 26" frame. It makes the 20" model act much more like a compact cargo utility bike.

Shortened Suspension Travel: To keep the bike balanced and prevent the pedals from scraping the ground, Himiway shortened the full-suspension architecture on the 20" version:

26" Model: 100mm Front Fork / 130mm Rear Travel

20" Model: 90mm Front Fork / 100mm Rear Travel

The Tires: While both are 4.0" ultra-wide fat tires, the 26" model ships with Maxxis Minion tires, whereas the 20" model shifts to Kenda x Himiway custom tires featuring built-in K-Shield puncture protection and highly visible reflective sidewalls.

Sizing Chart Shift: 

The 26" Step-Through is best for riders 5'1" to 6'5".

The 20" Step-Through caters down to shorter riders, fitting heights 4'11" to 6'3".
